DC has announced its Free Comic Book Day 2020 offerings, leading with Generation Zero – a one-shot which ties in to the newly-revised DC timeline that became canon with Wonder Woman #750, and sets the stage for the “future of the DC Universe.”
Featuring a new story by Flash Forward writer Scott Lobdell and artist Brett Booth, Generation Zero also seems to tie Wally West’s new status quo to Watchmen‘s Doctor Manhattan – as evidenced by his blue suit and the distinctive hydrogen symbol on his mask’s forehead. The issue will also reprint the story “A Brave New World” from Wonder Woman #750, which introduced the still-developing new initial timeline.
