THE BATMAN Casts BAFTA-Winning CHERNOBYL Actor – Report

Chernobyl actor Alex Ferns, who won a Best Supporting Actor BAFTA Award for his role in the HBO drama, has been cast in an unspecified role in The Batmanaccording to The Sun.

The Sun describes Ferns’ unnamed role as a “big part” for the actor, who won acclaim playing miner Glukhov in last year’s break out hit Chernobyl.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson in the title role alongside Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Geoffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrel as the Penguin.

The Batman is scheduled for a June 25, 2021 theatrical release.
