Inside the One-Percenter’s Bubble with BILLIONAIRE ISLAND #1 Preview (And Covers to #2)

Mark Russell and Steve Pugh’s Billionaire Island doesn’t debut until March 4, but the duo (and publisher AHOY Comics) have already shared with Newsarama a look at April’s #2 – both the covers and two interior pages.

Billionaire Island tells the story of Freedom Unlimited (FU Island), a private island created and populated by billionaires hoping to wait out the end of the world,” Russell said previously. “But because they are in international waters and not subject to any law, their haven is a nightmarish police state for anyone on the island who crosses them. In a broader sense, it’s a series that asks the question: how do we save the world when all its resources are partying offshore?”

Check out this #2‘s primary cover by Steve Pugh, a variant by Darick Robetson, and interior pages by Pugh, colorist Chris Chuckry, and letter Rob Steen.
