Morfydd Clark has been cast as Galadriel in Amazon’s upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel show, according to Variety. Cate Blanchett played the role in Warner Bros.’s The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings film series.
Clark is best-known for playing Sister Clara in BBC One/HBO’s current His Dark Materials adaptation, and will play Mina Harker in Netflix’s upcoming Dracula series.
Amazon’s Lord of the Rings is anticipated to debut in 2021.
