Stand By Me Doraemon was released as part of the 80th anniversary celebrations for Fujijko F Fujio’s original manga.
Once again co-directed by Yamazaki Takashi and Yagi Ryuichi, the sequel is inspired by volume 4 of the original manga, “A Grandmother’s Recollections”. The story begins with Nobita finding a toy knitted for him by his beloved grandma, who passed away when he was in kindergarten. Using the time machine, he travels back to when he was three years old.
