Is the DAILY PLANET Going Away Along with SUPERMAN’s Secret identity?

In recent months DC has begun releasing frequent “first looks” of upcoming titles, but even for them a one-page first look is unusual. 

But Friday the published sent out this ominous one-page preview of January’s Superman #19 by Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Alex Sinclair.

“Before part one of ‘The Truth’ hits shelves next Wednesday in Superman #18, we wanted to share this moment from part two in January’s Superman #19,” reads DC’s release. “Pour one out for The Daily Planet.

“Next week we find out The Truth, and after that we find out the consequences …”

DC’s original description of the issue reads “What happens the day after Superman reveals his secret identity to the world? And what repercussions will his decision have across the entire DC Universe?”
