DC 1st Look: SUPERMAN Tries to Convince JIMMY OLSEN He’s Clark … Jimmy Isn’t Buying

Thursday it was an image, and now Friday DC released several pages from next month’s Superman #18 by Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Alex Sinclair. The issue is written by Brian Bendis.

Superman #18 is part one of the “The Truth,” the storyline that reveals Superman’s secret identity to the world that may or may not be due to the machinations of Leviathan.

Check out the five new pages in our gallery, which seem to show Superman trying to convince Jimmy Olsen, he’s Clark Kent … unsuccessfully.

“The secret is out!” reads DC description of the issue. “In a story already making headlines, Superman’s family is scattered across the galaxy, and our hero must confront some of his greatest concerns about himself and his place in the galaxy. Legendary artist Ivan Reis joins writer Brian Michael Bendis as they introduce the biggest change in the Man of Steel’s life ever!”
