The just-released solicitation for January 2020’s Justice League #39 reveals that the issue will be series writer Scott Snyder’s last.

“Superstar scribe Scott Snyder says farewell to the Justice League with a special story that both winds down all the things he started in issue #1 – and nods toward everything that comes next in the DC Universe.”

Snyder’s next plans aren’t announced – though he recently hinted at an upcoming spritual sequel to 2017/18’s Dark Nights: Metal, which would re-team him with longtime collaborator Greg Capullo.

Here is the solicitation for Snyder’s finale.
