Jada Pinkett Smith is in talks to reprise her role as Niobe for Warner Bros.’s planned fourth Matrix film, according to Deadline.
Smith’s Niobe was the captain of a hovercroft called the Logos, and was based in Zion. The actor debuted in The Matrix Reloaded, and reprised her role in Matrix Revolutions as well as the video games Enter the Matrix and The Matrix Online.
Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss have alrady been confirmed as returning, with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II confirmed to be joining in a lead role. Earlier this week, Neil Patrick Harris reportedly signed on, but that has not been confirmed.
Warner Bros. has not set a release date, but production is anticipated to begin in early 2020.
