Marvel Comics has announced Marvel’s Avengers: Iron Man #1 – a prequel comic book setting the stage for Square Enix’s upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game.
Written by Jim Zub with art by Paco Diaz, the story (which hasn’t been specified as an ongoing, limited series, or one-shot) establishes that Stark’s tech has been stolen by villains – presumably the Lethal Legion, antagonists in the game.
And, the solicitation, seen below, implies that some of Stark’s Avengers teammates may not be on the up-and-up themselves.
Here’s the solicit, and the cover from Stonehouse. Marvel’s Avengers: Iron Man #1 is due out in December. Look for Marvel’s full December 2019 solicitations later this month on Newsarama.
