Hayley Atwell has been cast in the seventh Mission: Impossible film. The news was announced on writer/director Christopher McQuarrie’s Instagram as a recruitment, with Atwell responding in the affirmative.
McQuarrie plans to film the seventh and eighth Mission: Impossible films back-to-back, with Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson set to return as well.
The seventh Mission: Impossible film is scheduled for release July 23, 2021, followed up by the eighth on August 5, 2022.
