Image Comics have canceled all orders for Cyber Force #12 at Diamond Comic Distributors, but Top Cow says the series will return. Cyber Force #11 ended on a cliffhanger with the text “to be continued…”, as shown at right, then the cover for #12 on the following page.

Cyber Force #12 was to be the final installment of the series’ third arc. An upcoming collection, titled Cyber Force Vol. 3: Awakening, was solicited to include #9 through #12 with #12 as the arc’s finale, but Image have since amended the collection’s solicit to end with #11.

In laying out the story we removed a plot thread which shortened the story,” Cyber-Force co-writer (and Top Cow President) Matt Hawkins told Newsarama. “It was the right move creatively. We’re already planning the next arc; Cyber Force will be back very soon!”

Hawkins did not give any further details on the series.

Recent issues of the series were pushed back, with July’s #11, for example, originally solicited for February.  #12 was originally solicited for a March 27 release, but was rescheduled on several occasions with August 28 its last updated release date before before being removed from Diamond’s database.
