Good Girls Revolt actor Genevieve Angelson has been cast in DC Universe’s Titans season 2 as Dr. Eve Watson, accordingto Deadline.
‘Dr. Eve Watson’ doesn’t appear to originate in DC Comics – but her reported job as a scientist “with conlficted feelings about her work” at Cadmus Labs has highly-charged comic book roots. Cadmus is, of course, the lab where Kon-El/Conner Kent/Superboy was cloned from the combined DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor.
Actor Joshua Orpin was previously cast as Conner Kent for Titans season 2 – meaning the inclusion of Cadmus in the season is all the more significant, as is Dr. Watson’s potential role in the show.
Titans season 2 is scheduled to premiere September 6 on the DC Universe streaming service.
