Greg Russo has signed on to write New Line Cinema’s Space Invaders film, according to Deadline.
Warner Bros. optioned Space Invaders in 2014, and has moved it to New Line for development. Russo wrote the script for upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot, which is also being produced by New Line.
Back in 2015, Daniel Kunka was reportedly hired to write a Space Invaders film for Warner Bros.
