Swamp Thing executive producer James Wan is mind-boggled as to why DC Universe’s Swamp Thing television show was canceled, at least according to his Instagram post. “Don’t really know or understand why #Swampthing was cancelled,” he posted.

News of the cancelation came just six days after the show’s first episode premiered on the streaming service.

In the same Instagram post, the Aquaman director said he is “really proud” of the cast and crew’s work on the show.

Swamp Thing‘s ten-episode season is scheduled to run through August 2.
