Stan Lee’s former business manager Keya Morgan has entered a ‘not guilty’ plea to charges of elder abuse, as reported by USAToday.
Morgan was charged with five counts of elder abuse in May, and was arrested shortly after the charges were filed. Morgan was subsequently transported to Los Angeles from Arizona, where he pleaded ‘not guilty’ on all counts.
The specific charges filed include accusations of theft, embezzlement, forgery or fraud against an elder adult, and false imprisonment of an elder adult – all of which Morgan’s attorney, Alex Kessel, denied.
Morgan’s bail was set at $300,000, with the money to be provided by Morgan’s mother as part of an agreement to determine the source of the funds.
