Nicole J. Georges’ graphic novel Fetch: How a Bad Dog Brought Me Home is in development for television with Killing Eve production company Sid Gentle leading the production, according to Deadline.
Fetch is a semi-autobiographical story of Georges adopting a dog named Beija, and the progression of their relationship against the Portland underground punk scene. It follows Georges’ attempts to train and build a rapport with Beija.
“The cover is gorgeous; if you like dogs and like being an outsider, it’s the perfect project for you,” said Sid Gentle’s Sally Woodward. “I like taking things that are all about how outsiders find their people. It’s really lovely,”
No premiere date for Fetch has been announced.
