Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. have teamed up for what they have dubbed a four-day “Ultimate Movie Weekend” in which digital rentals of select titles from those studios will be available at a discounted rate, as reported by Variety.
The “Ultimate Movie Weekend” is now underway, running from May 31-June 3, with included rentals available for $0.99-2.99. Amazon, Apple’s iTunes and the Apple TV app, NBCUniversal’s FandangoNow, Google Play, Microsoft Movies & TV, Sony’s PlayStation Store, Redbox On Demand, Vudu. Altice USA’s Optimum and Suddenlink TV, Atlantic Broadband, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Cox Communications, AT&T’s DirecTV and U-verse, Dish Network, and Frontier Communications are all participating in the promotion, though which movies are available at which prices may vary from service to service.
