Michael Peña has been cast as the big bad in Warner Bros.’s live-action/animated Tom & Jerry film, according to Deadline.
The lovable Ant-Man actor will reportedly play a bulling hotel manager named Terrance, who hires Kayla (played by Chloe Grace Moretz) but ends up at odds once she outshines him at work – by hiring Tom to take care of the hotel’s mouse problem (namely, Jerry).
Tom & Jerry will be directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four, Shaft), and written by first-time screenwriter Eric Gravning.
Tom & Jerry is scheduled to hit theaters April 16, 2021.
