A purported Avengers: Endgame toy may have spoiled a key aspect of the film’s plot just weeks ahead of the film’s release.
Toys hitting store shelves and early box art that have mostly proven to be genuine have really been a problem for Marvel Studios trying to keep all the secrets of its upcoming films, and if genuine this may be the mother of all toy spoilers.
Potential spoilers ahead for Avengers: Endgame.

Rumors of such a plot element being a key part of Endgame have circulated for months – and if genuine, this toy may confirm that specific detail, though not the exact nature of this makeshift Infinity Gauntlet or how it might come to have Infinity Stones built on.
There’s also the possibility it’s merely a toy not meant to reflect an actual plot element (such as the inclusion of action figures for characters not seen in the movie under Avengers: Endgame branded lines). And of course, it could be entirely fake.
We’ll find out when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26.
