The Mummy actor Rachel Weisz is in talks to join Marvel Studios’s Black Widow solo film, according to Variety.
Weisz’s potential character has not been named. If cast, she would join star Scarlett Johansson who will reprise the film’s starring role. David Harbour and Florence Pugh have also reportedly been cast in unnamed roles.
Cate Shortland is already locked in to direct Black Widow, based on a script by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson.
No projected release date for Black Widow has been announced.
