Kishimoto Masashi, the creator of hit ninja manga Naruto, will be bringing a whole new series titled Samurai 8: Hachimaruden to Weekly Shonen Jump in spring 2019!
Written by Kishimoto and illustrated by Okubo Akira, it looks like Samurai 8 will bring samurai culture to a sci-fi setting. While expressing his excitement for the new work at the Jump Festa announcement, Kishimoto commented that he was working frantically to make it even more interesting than his signature title Naruto.
