World Trigger Set to Make its Manga Comeback!

Sci-fi manga World Trigger is finally making its comeback in Weekly Shonen Jump‘s 48th issue, set to hit the stands on Oct. 29!

Written by Ashihara Daisuke, it began serialization from 2013 and went on hiatus in 2016. After running in Weekly Shonen Jump for 5 issues, it will be transferred to Jump Square from the January issue released on Dec. 4. Volume 19 will also be up for grabs on the same day after one year and nine months of no new manga volumes.

In World Trigger, extraterrestrial beings named “Neighbors” have invaded the city of Mikado. Years after a mysterious agency helps Mikado’s people to defend themselves against the threat, daily life is largely back to normal – until a student with a huge secret transfers to the local school.
