Spider-Man: No Way Home Concept Art Is the Best Look Yet at Tom Holland’s New Suit

New concept art for Spider-Man: No Way Home reveals a fantastic new look at Peter Parker’s final suit in the film.

On Instagram, concept artist and Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios Ryan Meinerding, who has worked on such Marvel Cinematic Universe films as 2008’s Iron Man and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, released an image of Peter’s final suit in No Way Home. In his caption on the photo, Meinerding thanks Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and producer Amy Pascal, as well as others involved in the film.

Released in 2022, No Way Home took place immediately after the events of 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. In the film, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) deals with the fallout of Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) exposing his identity to the world. After that revelation begins affecting his friends, Spider-Man enlists the help of Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to re-hide his identity. However, things go awry, and he’s forced to contend with villains from previous Spider-Man franchises, including Doctor Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), Norman Osborn/Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Max Dillon/Electro (Jamie Foxx).

Overall, No Way Home was a major success for Marvel Studios and Sony’s partnership. At the box office, No Way Home has earned more than $1.8 billion worldwide against a budget of around $200 million. Domestically, No Way Home is now the third-highest grossing film ever at $781 million, which puts it between 2009’s Avatar at $760.5 million and Avengers: Endgame at $858 million. Those numbers do not account for inflation.

Critically, No Way Home currently sits at 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of the highest-rated films in the MCU. Currently, Iron Man and Endgame sit at 94 percent, while 2018’s Black Panther still holds the top spot at 96 percent. Those positive reviews resulted in Marvel and Sony pushing to get No Way Home a Best Picture nomination at the Academy Awards. While No Way Home was not nominated for that prestigious award, the title is still in the running for Best Visual Effects.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home is in theaters now. The film swings onto Digital on March 22 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on April 12.
