Which Tokyo Revengers Character Are You Based On Your MBTI® Type?

Tokyo Revengers took the anime world by storm upon its 2021 release. It follows the main character, Takemichi, as he travels back in time to reverse a series of tragic events, such as his high school girlfriend getting killed. Of course, this means he has to become the leader of one of the most intimidating gangs in the anime: the Tokyo Manji Gang.

Each character in Tokyo Revengers is unique in their own right, and it’s fun to dissect their personalities. Of course, the cast is so extensive that it spans across almost all sixteen of the Myers-Briggs personality types.



10 Chifuyu Matsuno Is An INFP

INFPs are “Mediators.” They are one of the rarest personality types on the Myers-Briggs roster, and people of this personality type are quiet but have rich imaginations. INFPs are incredibly empathetic and can absorb the emotions of others around them. They are creative and passionate about everything they set their mind towards, even if it’s to their detriment.

Chifuyu Matsuno is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang’s first division. Chifuyu is fiercely loyal and refuses to fight people he cares about, even if they throw the first punch. Chifuyu isn’t afraid to show his emotions and helps people out of the goodness of his heart. Despite being somewhat naive, Chifuyu hates those who underestimate others and stands up for anyone.



9 Takashi Mitsuya Is An INFJ

Takashi is also responsible, and he cares for his two younger sisters while their mother is away at work.

7 Draken And Baji Are ESTPs

ESTPs are “Entrepreneurs.” They are natural leaders full of charisma, making it easy for people to be drawn to them. ESTPs seek to push the envelope and hate wasting time on any arbitrary subject matter. Though they are pretty intuitive, they squander no time psychoanalyzing things others say.

Draken is known for his unpredictable personality, and he thoroughly enjoys the thrill of fighting. Draken wastes no time on people who aren’t worth his time, and he makes it abundantly clear that he doesn’t think too highly of them. ESFJs are called the “Consuls.” People of this personality type tend to be quite popular and bring people together. They can bring practicality to tricky situations, and they are quite reliable. ESFJs seek out harmony in every case, and they want to make sure everybody’s voice is heard.

Hinata Tachibana is friendly and has a cheerful personality. She always does her best to make any predicament better for the people she cares about, and she’s a massive pillar of support for such people. ESTJs are so driven to achieve their ideals that they don’t care if their methods involve stepping over others. However, they do care about their loved ones deeply.

Hajime Kokonoi views the world as a mathematical equation. He is cold, calculating, and he only acts in his interests. He is materialistic and sucks up to those of higher social status than he is. Then, when they’ve served their purpose, he discards them. However, his obsession with money stems from a tragic incident involving his love interest suffering terrible injuries. Kokonoi wanted to help her by any means possible.




3 Tetta Kisaki Is An INTJ

INTJs are “Architects.” They are the experts of rational skepticism blended with pure cynicism. At their best, they are independent and determined to achieve their goals. They don’t rely on others often. However, this does lead to loneliness and mental turmoil. When INTJs are at their worst, they are cunning, manipulative, and arrogant. They do not care about emotions and can be quite authoritarian.

Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist of Tokyo Revengers. He will do anything possible to achieve his goals, even if it means throwing others under the bus to get there. He rules the Tokyo Manji Gang with an iron fist. As a child, he was isolated, which led to him disregarding the importance of friendship. Therefore, he became ruthless and cold.


2 Emma Sano Is An ESFP

ESFPs are “Entertainers.” They are outgoing, creative, and have outstanding social skills. ESFPs try to avoid conflict when possible, and their overall happiness mainly stems from positive social connections. They can be pretty sensitive, but they are quite practical in their approach to life.

Emma Sano tends to appear rather childish. She purposely tries to make Draken jealous to get more attention quite often. However, she is a very kind person overall, and she genuinely cares about those who are important to her. Though, it is difficult for her to hide her childish demeanor.
