Icy from Winx Club is the leader of the Trix, a trio of witches descended from the Ancestral Witches. Icy can use ice magic and control anything related to the ice and snow. She is so powerful that she was able to fight Bloom one-on-one — a difficult feat since Bloom is one of the most powerful beings in all of Magix and the most powerful member of the Winx.
Icy has versatile powers and significant battle experience, so she could easily defeat many characters from other anime. Shalsha and Pao-Lin might put up a good fight, but Icy would overcome them easily thanks to her experience as a Trix member.
10 Sailor Mercury Would Be Frozen By Icy’s Magic (Sailor Moon)
Sailor Moon’s Sailor Mercury is one of the smartest Sailor Scouts; she could easily figure out Icy and the rest of Trix’s schemes. However, Icy is great at thinking quickly and changing plans last-minute to defeat most enemies. Sailor Mercury’s powers use water while Icy’s powers focus on ice and snow, so Icy could turn Mercury’s powers against her by freezing all of her attacks solid.
Icy can also fly, which also gives her an aerial advantage against Mercury. If Sailor Mercury has any chance of defeating Icy, she would need the other Sailor Scouts’ assistance.
9 Hunter J Stands No Chance Against Magical Attacks (Pokémon)
Pokémon Hunter J has experience using technology — like jetpacks and hovercrafts — to steal Pokémon and get away with it. She successfully kidnapped Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf for Cyrus in the Pokémon anime, but her hovercraft was also destroyed moments later by Uxie’s Future Sight attack. Hunter J presumably died in the aftermath.
J’s technology stood no chance against a Legendary Pokémon’s attack, so Icy could easily freeze Hunter J’s technology and send her to her demise if they met in battle. Icy can also fly without needing any technology, so disabling Hunter J’s jetpacks and other flying gear with her ice powers would hasten Icy’s victory.
8 Clear Would Be Frozen Before He Could Land A Punch On Icy (DRAMAtical Murder)
Clear is a robot, which makes him very durable and hard to kill. He survived having acid thrown on him in DRAMAtical Murder, and his singing can disable Toue’s other robots. However, Clear’s singing only affected the robots and cannot affect any normal human beings.
Additionally, Clear’s durability is unhelpful when facing Icy, who can use her ice magic to freeze him into a robot popsicle. Icy’s flight is another advantage over Clear; she has further mobility in a battle against him. Icy has more versatile abilities that can damage most beings and can destroy Clear easily.
7 Yuuki’s Abilities Are Currently Too Limited To Face Icy (Princess Connect! Re: Dive)
Yuuki’s abilities are best used for supporting his teammates rather than fighting foes himself. In the beginning of Princess Connect! Re: Dive, Yuuki is a terrible fighter. He lost his first fight against two wolves while meeting Kokoro for the first time, but he eventually grew stronger and started learning about his other abilities. Even so, he is still too weak to fight anyone as strong as Icy on his own.
Icy is a trained using magic user; she studied at Cloud Tower and consistently practiced her skills even after she was expelled. If Icy caught Yuuki alone, she could freeze him and end the battle before it even began.
6 Cure Whip Would Be Frozen Where She Stood (Kira Kira Pretty Cure A La Mode)
Kira Kira Pretty Cure A La Mode’s Cure Whip can jump very high, which could help her when fighting Icy in the air. However, her powers are limited when she fights on her own. Her main attacks could be easily frozen by Icy’s ice powers.
Icy also has much more experience using her powers than Cure Whip does and is better at changing strategies mid-battle. If Cure Whip wanted to defeat Icy, she would need help from her fellow Pretty Cures such as Cure Chocolat and Cure Macaron. Fighting Icy alone would be futile for Cure Whip.
5 Kohana’s Magical Abilities Aren’t Suited For Combat (Magic-Kyun! Renaissance)
Kohana’s abilities, much like Yuuki’s, are better suited to supporting her friends than participating in combat. Since Kohana’s powers come from flower arrangements, she often uses them to inspire and motivate others.
Icy would not bother fighting Kohana since Kohana could not do anything to defend herself. Even if Magic-Kyun! Renaissance’s Kohana did attempt fighting Icy, all Icy would have to do is freeze her. Kohana would be better off running away from Icy than trying to fight her at all.
4 Pao-Lin Huang Would Go Down In A Close Fight (Tiger & Bunny)
Pao-Lin Huang, also known as Dragon Kid in the superhero anime Tiger & Bunny, has limited abilities compared to Icy. Pao-Lin might be able to stun Icy with her lightning attacks and defend herself with her quick reflexes, but Icy could easily freeze Pao-Lin to the spot with ice magic before finishing her off with several more magical attacks.
Icy is strong enough to endure attacks from Bloom, one of the most powerful Winx members. Pao-Lin is not as strong as Bloom in comparison, and Icy could recover quickly from Pao-Lin’s attacks before defeating her.
3 The Heroine Barely Has Any Abilities For Self-Defense (Mr. Love: Queen’s Choice)
The heroine from Mr. Love: Queen’s Choice can enhance the EVOL abilities of others, but she can barely do anything to defend herself. Icy could easily defeat the heroine by getting her alone and freezing her into an ice statue.
The heroine of Mr. Love: Queen’s Choice might avoid her doom at first — powers of precognition could give away Icy’s plans — but Icy can think on her feet and devise another way to defeat the heroine quickly. Icy can’t read the future, but she has great improvisation skills.
2 Lillie Would Be Doomed If She Faced Icy In Battle (Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon!?)
Liliruca, also known as Lillie, is an expert thief that can disguise herself with the ability “Cinder Ella.” However, though Lillie made for a great Supporter in the dungeons with her deceitful skills, she would be doomed if she faced Icy in battle.
Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon’s Lillie might be able to fool Icy temporarily with her disguises and divert attention away from her, but Icy would eventually figure out Liliruca’s abilities and track her down. Lillie would need help from others in her new Familia such as Bell and Hestia to defeat Icy.
1 Shalsha Is A Walking Glass Cannon (I’ve Been Killing Slimes)
Shalsha almost defeated Azusa in the second episode of I’ve Been Killing Slimes out of revenge for all the fallen slimes. However, Shalsha honed her magic so much fighting Azusa specifically that one tap on the head from anyone else easily defeats her.
Once Shalsha uses up her magic, she won’t become powerful enough to repeat her magical acts for many years. Shalsha’s abilities are limited to only harming Azusa and only work for such short periods that she would be powerless against Icy and her magic.
