Snowpiercer’s third season has shifted the series into high-gear, with Layton (Daveed Diggs) and Mister Wilford (Sean Bean) on the hunt for each other, their respective trains, and a path forward for their followers. But war might be closer than either of them initially realized.

Snowpiercer Season 3, Episode 2, “The Last to Go” juggles the ramifications from the Season 3 premiere while setting the stage for a major conflict. Layton’s discovery of a survivor in the frozen tundra sets up several possibilities. Meanwhile, Wilford attempts to rally support on Big Alice — despite the poor living conditions aboard the high-speed train. The inevitable conflict between the two trains speeds up in the below clip from “The Last Go.” Now a pirate train, Snowpiercer has finally located Big Alice — and is ready to bring the fight to them.
Ahead of Season 3’s premiere, Snowpiercer director Christoph Schrewe teased the journey aboard Wilford’s train. “On Wilford’s train, everything is under a complete authoritarian regime to make things work… Everything is gray, dark, unpleasant, and cold.”
Even before Season 3’s finale, Snowpiercer has been confirmed for a fourth season on TNT. Catch “The Last to Go” premiere on Jan. 31 at 9 pm ET/PT on TNT.
