The new episode will be broadcasted as part of the Fate Project’s annual New Year’s Eve special program.
Illustrated by character designer Jun Nakai, the new visual features Touko Aozaki, who will make her first anime appearance in the special, Lord El-Melloi II, his apprentice Gray, and a younger version of Waver Velvet.
Based on the light novel mystery series by Makoto Sanda, Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files follows Waver Velvet, who fought alongside Iskandar the King of Conquerors during the fourth Holy Grail War. However, he now works as a detective under the name Lord El-Melloi II, investigating all sorts of magical mysteries from his base in the Clock Tower.
