HBO Max announced the premiere date of the Sex and the City reboot, titled And Just Like That, along with a first trailer.
And Just Like That stars original Sex and the City cast members Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbs and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York. This new chapter of Sex and the City starts streaming on Dec. 9.
Per the synopsis, And Just Like That opens a new chapter for Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte “as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”
From executive producer Michael Patrick King, who executive produced the original series and directed the SatC franchise’s two feature films, the revival was announced in January of this year and will consist of 10 episodes overall.
Sex and the City ran on HBO from 1998-2008. And Just Like That will premiere on HBO Max Dec. 9.
