Apparently, the orange hair photo Jameela Jamil shared on social media isn’t for her role as Titania on the She-Hulk Disney+ series.
To prove her point, Jamil quote-tweeted the original photo of herself in an orange wig and claimed, “This highly flammable, 18 dollar wig off the internet is not for Marvel! Glad you liked it though!” She bookended her post with 12 red heart emojis.

The Good Place star created a viral moment at the beginning of October when she took a photo wearing orange hair. Of course, since her She-Hulk character Titania also has long orange hair, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans immediately began to speculate that the wig was actually her comics-accurate hair for the Disney+ series. While Jamil has put those rumors to rest, she did not divulge her reasons for putting on the wig, or why she decided to share it on Twitter.
A June report claimed Jameela Jamil was joining She-Hulk to star opposite lead actor Tatiana Maslany as the villain Titania. Jamil later confirmed her addition to the She-Hulk cast by sharing a training choreography video. “I can’t believe I get to say this but… Fighting my way through the MCU, coming to you in 2022!” she captioned the video with the hashtags #SheHulk #AnythingIsPossibleKids. It’s worth pointing out that Jamil did not confirm what role she would be portraying on She-Hulk.
Other actors joining Maslany and Jamil on the Disney+ series include Tim Roth as Abomination, Josh Segarra, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
She-Hulk arrives on Disney+ in 2022.
