Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Celebrates Countdown to Launch With a Breakfast Club Homage

As of today, Sept. 26, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is officially one month away from launch. To mark the occasion, the game’s official Twitter account shared an in-game animation paying tribute to the classic ’80s coming-of-age film The Breakfast Club.

“[The Guardians of the Galaxy game] releases in one month. Better work on your moves,” the official Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy account wrote. The tweet was accompanied by an animated GIF, in which the team of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon and Groot recreate the iconic Breakfast Club sequence in which John Bender (Judd Nelson), Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall) and Andrew Clark (Emilio Estevez) dance together to the tune of “We Are Not Alone” by Karla DeVito.
