Sosuke Aizen was a menace to the Soul Reapers of Bleach and the driving force behind all their greatest troubles. It took Ichigo Kurosaki transforming into a new form with no way to return, to finally be able to rid the world of Aizen’s hybrid threat.
However, power scaling works very differently depending on the anime in question and when it comes to the entire medium, there are ample characters that have displayed feats of strength that would far out-match Aizen. Some characters could defeat Aizen in a contest of strength or magic, while others could best him by simply being a poor matchup for the villain.
10 Saitama Only Needs One Punch (One-Punch Man)
Saitama is known as the One-Punch Man. That’s because, as the name suggests, he can defeat any foe he comes up against in a single punch. Unfortunately for Aizen, this rule would also apply to him.
In a theoretical battle between the two characters, it would be over as soon as Saitama’s fist makes contact with the rogue Soul Reaper turned Hollow. And Saitama would go back to living a boring existence without any foes strong enough to match him.
9 Light Yagami Has a Book With Aizen’s Name In It (Death Note)
While the Death Note can be held by anyone, it’s Light Yagami that had mastered its intricacies. In a duel against Aizen, it would only take Light writing Aizen’s name within the cursed book to spell his untimely demise via a heart attack or any other number of specific methods Light can imagine.
Aizen’s boastfulness would make it easy enough for Light to discover his name, and it wouldn’t be long before Ryuk introduces him to Soul Reapers of another kind.
8 Jotaro Kujo Can Outwit Aizen (Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure)
Aizen often believes that he is untouchable. Such overconfidence led to him underestimating Ichigo and a similar situation played out with Dio Brando and Jotaro Kujo’s final confrontation.
Jotaro survived not only because his Stand, Star Platinum, can stop time and attack at blazing speeds, but because of his ingenuity when incorporating Dio’s overconfidence into his strategies. In a fight with Aizen, Jotaro would skillfully play into the madman’s power trip, before pausing time at the crucial moment to emerge victoriously.
7 Giorno Giovanna Can Stop The Fight Before It Happens (Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure)
Few fans would dispute that Giorno Giovanna might be the most powerful Stand user in Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure. After going through various evolutions with his Stand, Gold Experience, Giorno discovered that he had the ability to both tamper with the flow of time for his opponent and to manipulate events such that his opponent’s actions never even happened.
Trapped in a never-ending dream where Aizen believes himself to have won, Giorno would simply walk away from the fight knowing that the result was a foregone conclusion.
6 Son Goku Is Too Strong For Aizen To Understand (Dragon Ball)
Precious few anime characters have reached the absurd levels of strength that Son Goku has. After achieving every form of Super Saiyan and going beyond that to Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct, Goku’s prowess is on par with that of universe-destroying gods in the world of Dragon Ball.
With the addition of abilities such as his lightning-fast instant transmission, Ki blasts, and Kaio-Ken, a duel against Aizen would be one of the most one-sided fights in all of anime.
5 Lelouch Lamperouge Needs Only Utter One Command (Code Geass)
As far as predictable outcomes go, this match-up would be just as easy to predict as Light’s would be. The power of Geass gives Lelouch Lamperouge the ability to make anyone within in sight obey his commands just once.
As fans of Code Geass are well aware, a one-time order is all Lelouch needs in order to force his foe to end his own life. In a fight to the death between Lelouch and Aizen, Lelouch would simply order Aizen to end his own life, and the chess match would be concluded.
4 Gojo Satoru Would Teach Aizen The Meaning Of Infinity (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Gojo Satoru once stated that he would probably be able to defeat a fully resurrected Ryomen Sukuna, the most ancient and powerful spirit in Jujutsu Kaisen, and it’s not hard to believe him. The legendary sorcerer has a limitless “infinity” barrier protecting his body from outside contact at all times.
While his ultimate move, the domain expansion, creates an “Unlimited Void” that inexplicably traps his opponent’s mind in a state of limbo. In the miraculous event that Aizen could survive any of this, Gojo also outmatches him with his sheer cursed technique creativity.
3 Rimuru Tempest Has An Answer For Everything (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)
The reincarnated slime, Rimuru Tempest, houses a mountain worth of skills that let him outdo Aizen. After evolving to demon slime, Rimuru exponentially increased his strength, speed, and magicule supply. His skills include being able to absorb and steal the abilities of enemies, infinite regeneration, control over his material and spiritual bodies, aliment nullification, and resistance to most attack types.
Even if Aizen found a way to fight Rimuru, the slime also has the omnipotent Raphael inside him, to analyze and deduce the weaknesses of his foes.
2 Koro-Sensei Would Take Aizen To School (Assassination Classroom)
Koro-Sensei is an unusual but deadly being. His yellow octopus-like appearance belittles the fact that he was the product of dangerous experimentation. He can fly at Mach 20 speeds, has near limitless regeneration of his body, and was powerful enough to blow a hole straight through the moon.
His intelligence and prior experience as an assassin only make these abilities even more deadly and there is no doubt that Aizen would have trouble keeping up with the pesky teacher.
1 Money D. Luffy Can Show Aizen Why He’s Part Of The Worst Generation (One Piece)
The would-be pirate king has evolved beyond Aizen’s grasp. His Rubber Rubber fruit gave him the ability to stretch his body and get creative with his moves. That includes the Gatling Gun attack which pelts a barrage of punches and his Grizzly Magnum which delivers two gigantic fists covered in Haki to his enemy.
With each transformation to a higher gear, he gains access to devastatingly powerful attacks. Meanwhile, his Conqueror’s Haki can instantly disable weak-minded enemies, his Observation Haki can predict his opponent’s attacks, and his Ryou would let him internally damage Aizen without physically touching him.
