Actor and former president of the Screen Actors Guild Ed Asner has died at the age of 91. He passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, surrounded by family members. The actor was best known for his performance on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and for his vocal performance as Carl Fredricksen in Pixar’s Up and throughout the DC Animated Universe as Granny Goodness.
