Creatively, Franky destroyed the bridge beneath their feet so that everyone would go plummeting to the depths below. Since Robin had the ability to fly for a brief period of time, the Straw Hat duo was spared while their opponents’ numbers dwindled considerably. Were it not for their teamwork, both pirates’ shadows might have been stolen.
8 Franky Created A Smokescreen To Help Luffy Escape From Caesar At Punk Hazard
After the Straw Hats were defeated and captured by Caesar Clown, they were hoisted outside in a cell to serve as test subjects for the villain’s newest creation. Since Franky had no devil fruit powers and a tremendous amount of strength, he was able to fire off an explosive round at a nearby ship.
Doing so created a thick fog of smoke that ruined the transponder snail’s line of sight from Caesar’s victims. Subsequently, Luffy and his friends were given the time they needed to escape.
7 Franky Built The Thousand Sunny Overnight
After the escape from Enies Lobby, the Straw Hats were in a difficult situation. The Going Merry was completely destroyed, and they didn’t have another ship lined up to sail the Grand Line. Worse yet, the Marines were gathering their forces to arrest them at Water Seven.
Immediately, Franky got to work. He used the two hundred million berries he stole from Luffy in order to craft one of the finest ships ever built with the help of Iceberg. The plan worked to a fault. Franky’s attack at the surface of the toy factory drew the attention of three powerful Doflamingo family executives and lured them away from the real mission. Although his comrades still had their own problems to worry about, they couldn’t have liberated Dressrosa without the cyborg’s aid.
5 Franky Defeated The Savage Ikaros Much
The battle for Fish-Man island was extremely perilous, given that Hody Jones’ forces numbered roughly 100,000. Among his finest lieutenants was Ikaros Much, a fish-man with the ability to siphon the blood from his enemies with the briefest exposure to his squid weapons.
The nature of his abilities provided Franky the perfect opportunity to debut his newest robotic creation. When submerged inside the mech suit, he could safely pummel Ikaros without worrying about retaliation.
4 Franky Defended The Thousand Sunny From Doflamingo’s Minions
Buffalo and Baby Five were sent by Doflamingo to retrieve Caesar Clown and destroy the Thousand Sunny. Since Franky hadn’t joined the attack against the S.M.I.L.E factory, he was prepared to repel the villains just as they arrived.
Not only did he manage to defeat and capture them, but he also prevented the Straw Hats from losing Clown as leverage. Buffalo and Baby Five would ultimately be returned to Doflamingo in pieces as a warning and invitation from Trafalgar Law.
3 Franky Blew Down Heavy Blast Doors To Help His Friends Escape Caesar Clown’s Prison
After the Straw Hats were knocked unconscious by Caesar Clown, they were abducted and brought into his facility. Since the scientist presumed that none of them could escape from heavy blast doors, he simply left them there unshackled and unchecked.
While neither Sanji nor Chopper could break out of the cell, Franky had a solution stashed away in his arsenal. He used a radical beam to blow apart the doors and officially began the Straw Hats’ daring escape.
2 Franky Protected Robin From Spandam At Enies Lobby
Since Luffy was still locked in battle with Lucci near the climax of Enies Lobby, Franky went ahead in order to prevent Spandam from taking Robin through the gates of justice. Although he managed to liberate her from the villain’s grasp, it wasn’t long before many Marines joined the fight.

Allies and enemies alike were frozen in place, admiring the battle in progress between the hard-boiled warriors. Ultimately, Franky emerged from the conflict victorious, having secured his first victory against a real challenge ever since he fought alongside the Straw Hats at Enies Lobby.
