The first season of the sensational series Loki has come to an end and fans loved every minute of the wild adventure. With the announcement of a second season on its way, fans are looking forward to meeting more new characters as well as seeing characters from the first season again.
While the main Loki Variant of the series was technically a new character, fans have been familiar with Tom Hiddleston’s incredible portrayal of Loki for over a decade now. Many legitimately new characters were also introduced in this series and most of them were incredibly well received by fans. Dozens of new characters were seen over the course of six episodes, but only a select few have become new fan favorites in the MCU.
10 The Less Than Helpful TVA Librarian
The TVA is a bureaucratic nightmare complete with red tape and less than helpful employees, including a lovely librarian Loki meets in the second episode of the series. While the interaction between Loki and the librarian is short, fans enjoy her emotionless expression as Loki tries to sweet-talk his way into some restricted files.
With a sarcastic grin, the librarian agrees to show Loki the files he can access, which end up being only the files about himself. While the TVA has been completely changed as of the series finale, fans are hoping for another exchange between these two in the future.
9 The Rigid Ravonna Renslayer
Ravonna Renslayer appears as a minor antagonist throughout the series though it’s still unclear where exactly she sits on the TVA hierarchy. Additionally, considering she left the TVA in a mysterious hurry, fans are very curious to see where she went. Some have suggested that He Who Remains tasked Renslayer with recruiting other benevolent Variants of himself to combat the malevolent force he knew was coming.
There is no doubt Renslayer will return for the next season of Loki, perhaps forming an alliance with Kang as she does in the comics. She may even appear in other films expected to expand on the multiverse such as the Dr. Strange sequel, the Ant-Man threequel, and Spider-Man’s third film.
8 The Southern Belle Known As Miss Minutes
Miss Minutes is an adorable little orange clock that is part sentient being and part computer program and she appears to be the secretary for the man in charge. Additionally, she happens to have access to all information and files within the TVA, suggesting that she knows some serious secrets.
She also happens to be voiced by the incredible Tara Strong who has voiced dozens of well-known animated characters including Timmy Turner (The Fairly Oddparents), Bubbles (The Powerpuff Girls), and Raven (Teen Titans). Fans are certainly hoping to see more of this sweet, yet seemingly morally ambiguous A.I. clock.
7 The Powerful Variants Kid Loki & Gator Loki
There were several Loki Variants introduced throughout the series, many of whom fans would very much like to see again. Toward the top of that list are the Variants known as Kid Loki and Gator Loki who were first introduced in the Void. Gator Loki is kind of a joke, but he is a fun on-screen presence and can hold his own in a fight.
Despite being a child, Kid Loki commands a great deal of respect from the other Lokis, largely due to the fact that he was able to kill his timeline’s Thor. Both of these Loki Variants are powerful and fun, and with them presumably still meandering about the Void, they could certainly make a return.
6 TVA Hunter B-15 (& Hunter C-20, Perhaps In The Void)
The muscles of the TVA are heavily armored agents known as Hunters. Several Hunters are seen throughout the series, and many of them have been killed by Sylvie. Two of the more prominent Hunters are C-20 and B-15. While C-20 is presumed to be dead or pruned after her experience with Sylvie, B-15 is seen speaking with Mobius in the final moment of the finale.
It’s unclear whether or not C-20 will make another appearance, but given what fans know about the Void, it’s not impossible for her to still be around. After B-15’s similar revelation about her past life, she takes more of a significant role within the series and will likely be a major presence in Season 2.
5 Casey The Ignorant Analyst
While Casey doesn’t have much screen time in the series, the moments he does appear on screen are memorable and often hilarious. In the first episode, Loki threatens to gut Casey like a fish if he doesn’t surrender the Tesseract. Casey simply, and hilariously, responds by asking him what a fish is.
In the series finale, Eugene Cordero (the actor who plays Casey) is credited under the name Hunter K-5E, suggesting that he may have been promoted or taken a different path at the new version of the TVA. With this type of detail likely to catch fire in the die-hard fan community, Casey/Hunter K-5E will surely play a part in Season 2.
4 Classic Loki Is An Incredibly Powerful Sorcerer
Richard E. Grant delivers an incredibly memorable performance as Classic Loki in the sensational Loki series. While his fate may appear to be sealed, fans know he’s cheated death before with the help of an incredibly believable duplication so it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume he’s done it again.
Classic Loki could rejoin Kid Loki and Gator Loki in the Void, or perhaps he could make his way to the Citadel and find a confused and emotional Sylvie. Classic Loki with Sylvie could be an interesting dynamic and might also allow Classic Loki to finally develop a meaningful connection with someone.
3 He Who Remains (A Variant Of Kang The Conqueror)
While the name “Kang” is never mentioned specifically, the explanation of He Who Remain’s backstory all but confirms that he is a Variant of Kang the Conqueror, the future villain in the Ant-Man threequel. Jonathan Majors’ performance as He Who Remains is nothing short of spectacular and fans are now looking forward to his portrayal as Kang more than ever.
With the promise of multiple Kang Variants, fans are curious to see how differently and similarly Majors will play each one. Considering the final sequence of the finale showed a single stone statue in the TVA headquarters that resembled Kang the Conqueror in his comic book regalia, fans should expect a big return for Majors before his silver screen debut in Quantumania.
2 The Lovable & Goofy Mobius M. Mobius
Because of his quick wit and clever quips, Mobius is a character that fans immediately fell in love with from the very beginning. Once it was revealed he had a soft spot for jetskis, fans wanted nothing more than for Mobius to ride one. Perhaps fans will see this come to fruition in Season 2, but not before he and Loki rekindle their friendship at the new TVA.
At the end of the final episode, Mobius is still his loveable goofy self, but he clearly has no memory of his previous relationship with Loki. Previously Mobius had seen dozens, perhaps scores, of different Lokis over his career, so the fact that he doesn’t even recognize him suggests that this new TVA has never had an interest in Lokis.
1 The Sensational Sylvie Laufeyson
When the initial villain of the series was revealed to be a version of Lady Loki, fans were more than excited. However, it has since become clear that not only is Sylvie a protagonist, but her character was also inspired by both Lady Loki and Enchantress, and perhaps others. Regardless of who she may or may not be from the comics, Sylvie has become one of the most beloved MCU characters to date.
While fans are concerned about the new TVA and its Kang statue, Sylvie is still in the Citadel technically out in the Void. She can presumably go anywhere and anywhen she wants with He Who Remain’s version of a TemPad. However, fans are hoping for some immediate reconciliation with Loki after she kissed him and expelled him from the Citadel before killing the man behind the curtain.
