Although rumors have been circulating about Wesley Snipes being cast in the fourth John Wick film, it’s now been confirmed that the Blade actor is not involved.
A tweet from Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter addressed the reports, saying, “Despite some reports, action star @wesleysnipes is NOT going to be in John Wick 4.” He added, “There were some discussions a little while ago but it didn’t work out,” which would explain how the rumors got started.

Snipes is best known for the Blade franchise of the 1990s, in which he played the half-vampire warrior who used his “daywalker” power to hunt vampires. The series is currently being rebooted with Mahershala Ali in the lead role.
While fans of Snipes may be disappointed to learn that he won’t be showing up as a new ally or enemy for John Wick, the cast for the film is already loaded with returning and new actors, including the return of Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King.
Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 4 stars Keanu Reeves, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen and Laurence Fishburne. The film arrives in theaters May 27, 2022.
