Marvel has more than a few characters that would seamlessly transition into Naruto’s world, some of which would make outstanding Hokage if given the chance. Captain America springs to mind immediately. His leadership and patriotism are perfect for the position that Naruto now holds.
But no other Marvel character is more suited for it than Daredevil or Matt Murdock. The way he carries himself is suited well for the position, and he’s one of the few Marvel characters who regularly deal with ninja.
10 He’s A Skilled Fighter That Would Be Immune To Genjutsu
As far as martial arts are concerned, Daredevil would be more than capable of holding his own against any foe in Naruto. He’d be a top-tier taijutsu specialist, second only to Might Guy in that regard.
It could be argued he’d learn to open the gates just as Guy did, provided he was born into that universe. The advantage he’d have is the fact genjutsu wouldn’t work on him at all. The fact he’s blind would render even something as powerful as Tsukuyomi powerless.
9 He’s Already Had Training In The Ninja Arts
Daredevil is one of the few people who could transition easily to the Naruto world, alongside Elektra and Iron Fist. All three of them have received training in the arts of not only martial arts but the way of the ninja.
Stick and The Chaste helped turn Daredevil into what he is today. One of his mortal enemies is even an evil ninja clan known as The Hand, meaning he already has some experience dealing with ninja-related conflicts.
8 His Education in Law Would Help Him Handle Political Conflicts Easily
An underrated facet of being Hokage is the ability to deal with all of the paperwork and political aspects of the job. It isn’t just a title given to someone who’s the strongest in the village, even if that’s often the case.
Naruto is a prime example of a character who is struggling with the job due to how much work it is. Thankfully, Matt’s work as a lawyer would make this a piece of cake. He’d easily be able to handle Kage summits with ease, always making sure Konoha came out on top.
7 His Moral Code Would Allow Him To Avoid Being Corrupted With Power
Outside of the brief blip with Shadowland where he was possessed by the beast, Matt has never shown an inkling of corruption. He’s a character that has a firm moral code that he’s never willing to break, even if several villains have tried to force him to in the past.
That same code would make him ideal to be in a position of power like Hokage. There would be no chance that he’d be consumed by greed, maintaining his morals no matter what.
6 He’s Willing To Make The Tough Decisions, Even If It’s To His Own Detriment
One thing Daredevil’s never been afraid of is making tough decisions. He always does what he feels is right, even if it’s going to come back to bite him in the end. It’s happened in multiple mediums of the character, from outing himself as Daredevil in the comics to coming clean to Foggy about his double life in the television shows.
Both times had results that weren’t all that beneficial to him, but they were the right thing to do. He’s always been a very selfless person.
5 He’d Do Whatever It takes To Keep Konoha Safe
One constant with the character is that he will do whatever it takes to keep Hell’s Kitchen safe. That’s his home, the one place he’s sworn to always protect. He’ll get his hands in other matters when asked to, but Hell’s Kitchen and New York are his duty to protect.
It’s not all that dissimilar to the oath he’d take as Hokage. He’d need to put the needs of the nation first, even if it means putting them above his own, much like he already does.
4 He Believes Everyone Deserves A Shot At Redemption
Partly due to his faith, Daredevil believes that everyone deserves a shot at redemption, even some of his most hated enemies. There are naturally limits to this as he’s brutally apprehended a few of his more notable rogues before, but by and large, his goal is always to get people to see the good in themselves.
It’s a personality trait that isn’t unlike Naruto, a character notable for always making villains see how wrong their goals were.
3 He Understands How Death Can Affect A Person
Empathy is always a necessity when in a position of power. You need to understand the hardships others have gone through, and none of those is greater than death. Matt Murdock is well acquainted with that after what happened with his father.
Jack Murdock is the perfect example of a man trying to do right but getting dealt a bad hand. That sort of first-hand experience would help him be a great leader of the people.
2 He Cares About The Common Man
As with empathy, Daredevil has clear care for the common man, feeding into his selfless nature. Even before he took on the moniker of Daredevil, Matt Murdock was willing to leave his high-paying position at Landman & Zack to open his firm with Foggy in the show.
He did it for the expressed purpose of helping people rather than doing it for money. Matt’s always been a man who’d rather give than receive anything in return.
1 He Is A Man Without Fear & Won’t Be Forced Into Inaction
Fear is something that a proper leader can’t have. While some fear can be good, too much can cloud a person’s line of thinking, forcing them to overthink things and lead to inaction. The most important thing as a leader is a willingness to act, even if the choice made will be second-guessed by others.
All of the Hokage have been in a situation where they had to act without much thought, namely Minato’s decision to place the Kyubii into his only son.
