The Infinite Frontier miniseries will feature a large cast of characters — including a few new ones.
Writer Joshua Williamson posted a thread on Twitter featuring details and artwork from Infinite Frontier #1. One piece of art features the mysterious new character X-Tract, who will debut in Infinite Frontier #1. “INFINITE FRONTIER #1 has the FIRST APPEARANCE of a new mystery character called X-TRACT. She’s a Multiversal Bounty Hunter. Rounding up people who don’t belong on Earth-0,” Williamson wrote.
Williamson also discussed Infinite Frontier‘s roster, which includes Calvin Ellis — the Superman of Earth-23 and president of the United States — and the newly resurrected Roy Harper. He also teased that Darkseid would make “big moves in secret,” with the Lord of Apokolips having received a massive power upgrade. Darkseid is currently stationed on Earth-Omega, a nightmarish world that seems to bring the worst aspects of the Dark Multiverse to life.

“One of my goals with this mini-series is to tell a Multiversal mystery from a grounded point of view,” Williamson continued, saying that the Infinite Frontier cast would be split into different stories that interact throughout the course of the series. He also listed Countdown to Infinite Crisis and 52 as inspiration for Infinite Frontier and concluded the thread by saying the miniseries would be “Act One” of a massive DC story.
