Panic, an upcoming series on Amazon Prime Video, promoted the show with the release of character descriptions and photo collages.
Based on the young adult novel by Lauren Olivier, who created and wrote the series, Panic looks in on high school seniors hoping to escape their lives in the small town of Carp, Texas by winning the grand prize in a dangerous contest of challenges.
The cast includes Olivia Welch as Heather Nill, an aspiring writer pursuing an accountant’s certification. Her mother, Sherri Nill (Rachel Bay Jones), had her first child at age 17 and struggles with sobriety and relationships. There’s also Mike Faist as Dodge Mason, a newcomer to Carp with a volatile edge he keeps in check, and Jessica Sula as Natalie Williams, a deputy sheriff’s daughter who longs to start an acting career in California.
