Marvel Studios is developing a fourth Captain America film from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman.
The season finale of Falcon and Winter Soldier ended with Sam Wilson donning a comics-accurate Captain America costume to officially take on the mantle from Steve Rogers. Together with Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter and John Walker (now going by the moniker US Agent), the foursome helped stop the Flag Smashers. The final title card for Falcon and Winter Soldier switched its wording to Captain America and the Winter Soldier.
Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The entire first season is available to stream on Disney+.
