Netflix is giving fans a chance to get an early look at the new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.
“Be the first people in the world to watch the Army of the Dead trailer,” Netflix tweeted on April 11 at 2:21 p.m. ET, along with a link to sign up that’s valid for 24 hours.
“It is a full-blown, balls-to-the-wall zombie heist movie, so it’s genre-on-genre in a great way,” Snyder said of Army of the Dead in January. “So you expect pure zombie mayhem, and you get that, 100 percent.” However, he also noted that “It’s going to surprise people that there’s a lot of warmth and real emotion with these great characters.”
Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Garret Dillahunt, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Raul Castillo, Tig Notaro, Theo Rossi and Ana de la Reguera. The film arrives on Netflix May 21.
