While Gilmore Girls‘ Netflix revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life was deemed a success by both original series’ fans and wider audiences, there’s no confirmed follow-up season.
However, series star Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) revealed she’s down for another revival. “I just could never have expected that what happened, happened. I don’t ever say never,” Graham told Collider. “I still talk to Amy and Kelly [Bishop] and Alexis [Bledel].”
“There is not a plan for it,” Graham added. “Everyone is doing their own thing.”

She continued, “If that came up again, I love that character so much and I love Amy. I will work with her, any time. It would just be a matter of responsibility to the fans and what we could give them that’s deserving of their devotion, or should it just live in reruns.”
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life proved to a huge success upon dropping on Netflix, ranking in its top 10 during its initial week of release. That success translated to a short run on its original network, The CW, in November 2020. Graham currently stars in Disney+’s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers stars Lauren Graham, Emilio Estevez, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham and DJ Watts. New episodes debut on Disney+ each Friday.
