Terec and Ceret first appeared in The High Republic #2 and belong to the native species of the planet Kotab. Known for their inquisitive nature, the Jedi Knights are bond-twins who have a linked consciousness, allowing them to express identical emotions and finish one another’s sentences, even when they’re speaking in separate rooms.

First held in 2009, International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual event taking place on March 31 and focused on raising awareness of the discrimination and violence faced by the global transgender community, in addition to celebrating their identities. Joe Biden is the first U.S. President to formally recognize the event, with the White House issuing a proclamation reading, “The crisis of violence against transgender women, especially transgender women of color, is a stain on our Nation’s conscience.”
