JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: The 10 Best Uses Of Killer Queen, Ranked

Killer Queen was the Stand of Yoshikage Kira, the main antagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure act four. It was notorious for the many abilities it possessed, each of which was meticulously employed by its user to haunt Morioh for many sleepless nights.

The serial killer’s applications varied in nuance and practicality. Through measuring the best uses of the villain’s Stand, we can appreciate his deranged genius and the many ways in which he evaded justice in spite of the opposition he encountered during his murders. Moreover, we gain a firmer appreciation for the threat he posed to the entire town.

10 Killing Thugs Who Distracted Him

Once Kira realized that his identity might be uncovered, he quickly ventured back to the tailoring shop in order to deal with those investigating him. He was apprehended by a hoodlum who demanded his money and mocked him for his mannerisms.

Yoshikage Kira was willing to relinquish the wallet to the criminals. However, after they received the money, he detonated it with his Stand, blowing off their fingers. Though it was a prudent way of dispatching them, it was an instance where he was particularly careless in preserving his secrecy.

9 Using His Stand To Hide Evidence Of His Murders

It cannot be overstated how useful Killer Queen is in the way Kira has chosen to use it. His Stand’s explosions are perfect for his murders since he can incinerate entire bodies in a single flick of his wrist.

This makes it impossible for official authorities to perform autopsies on the victims, probing for valuable details like fingerprints or causes of death. However, Yoshikage’s conscious decision to leave their hand intact imperils the advantage his Stand gives him.

8 He Murdered Aya Tsuji

Aya Tsuji was the Stand user of Cinderella. After his appalling defeat against Morioh’s heroes, Yoshikage fled to her parlor and insisted that she give him a new identity, using the most convenient nearby victim’s face to complete his disguise.

In order to ensure that she did not convey his scheme to his pursuers, Kira murdered Aya before the heroes arrived. Considering that he does not carry any weapons on his person, it is safe to assume that he used Killer Queen to end her life, even if the woman’s demise was not explicitly shown.

7 He Forced Koichi To Choose A Target & Overwhelmed Him

Initially, Koichi was able to pacify Yoshikage’s Heart Attack since he weighed it down through the ability of his Stand. However, when Kira arrived in person, he forced Hirose to make an impossible choice – if he held his tank back, the villain would accost him in person. Ultimately, the hero decided to continue restraining Heart Attack anyway.

This resulted in Koichi’s brutal beatdown and humiliation. Were it not for Jotaro’s intervention on his behalf, Yoshikage would have slain the youth before absconding into anonymity, with none the wiser about the nature of his identity.

6 Rigging The Doorknob To Finish Off Shigechi

After being grievously injured by Killer Queen, Shigechi fled into Morioh’s high school, desperate to find Josuke and Okuyasu. Bleeding and ragged, he finally stumbled upon their classroom and reached for the doorknob, screaming their name.

However, Killer Queen already turned the handle into a bomb, and the young boy would realize his mistake a moment too late. What resulted was an excruciating and fiery death, one well out of sight from those who could have saved him from his vanquisher. Since Harvest retrieved Yoshikage’s button, his murder would not be in vain.

5 He Severely Injured Jotaro Before Josuke Arrived

Much to Jotaro’s astonishment, Star Platinum was unable to destroy Heart Attack through brawn alone. Its persistent detonations – combined with Yoshikage’s Killer Queen – dealt him grievous injuries and rendered the hero unable to fight.

Kira himself was wounded from their encounter, hoping to pass off as another victim of Morioh’s murderer when Higashikata and Okuyasu arrived. Luckily, they were intelligent enough to discern the ruse, accosting him and forcing him to retreat.

4 He Killed Okuyasu At The Beginning Of His Fight With Josuke

Once Yoshikage Kira had openly stated his identity, he was no longer able to rewind reality with Bites The Dust. This allowed Josuke and Okuyasu to confront him safely without fear that their efforts might be fruitless.

Unfortunately, the latter hero did not anticipate that Kira fused his Stand’s abilities with that of Stray Cat. As a consequence, a massive hole was blown in his side, killing him almost instantly. Though Shining Diamond was able to mend his body, it could not restore his soul, but he would mysteriously return to life before the end of the act regardless.

3 He Combined Killer Queen With Stray Cat To Increase His Power

Stray Cat was a Stand that could produce air globules in devastating quantities. Initially, Yoshikage Kira was threatened by it and attempted to destroy the creature with Killer Queen. After failing, he realized the nature of its power and synthesized its strength with his own.

By doing so, he turned his Stand from a formidable melee fighter to a feared and versatile predator. It would significantly enhance his prowess in his battle against Josuke, especially since he could attack him from a safe distance.

2 He Defeated Shigechi Despite His Opponent’s Superior Stand

Shigechi vs kira

When the battle between Shigechi and Kira began, it soon became clear that the youth had a superior Stand. His Harvest restricted every inch of the villain’s body and was prepared to reduce him to a bloody pulp.

Using cunning and ingenuity, Yoshikage preyed upon his opponent’s mercy in order to prevail. By turning a coin into a bomb and flicking it toward Shigechi, he was able to exploit his opponent’s curiosity and defeat him in a single explosion. This left the hero as a hobbling and bloody mess whose execution was tragically inevitable.

1 He Used Bites The Dust To Keep Hayato Quiet

After Hayato uncovered his “father’s” identity, he intended to prove the man’s guilt. Overwhelmed by stress and terrified that he might lose the quiet life he enjoyed, Kira inserted the Stand Arrow into his arm and evolved Killer Queen.

By doing so, he created an ability named “Bites The Dust.” Whoever Hayato told about his nature would promptly be exploded from the inside out, suffering a fiery death. It made the young boy helpless to stop the killer since he would endanger anyone he tried to call for assistance.
