Dwayne Johnson Cries Foul on Prince William’s ‘Sexiest Bald Man’ Title

Young Rock creator Dwayne Johnson shared with fans who he thinks should be called the “Sexiest Bald Man” on Twitter, shortly after a news outlet gave the title to Prince William.

“How in the cinnamon toast f*ck does this happen – when Larry David clearly has a pulse?!?!” Johnson wrote on Twitter in reply to The Independent running an article on March 27 that deemed Prince William the “Sexiest Bald Man” on the planet. William was determined to be the winner based on a study that measured Google search term results for bald male actors.

A cosmetic surgery specialist group called Longevita conducted the study by measuring how many times a bald male celebrity was called “sexy” in online articles and blogs. The study found William in the lead with 17.6 million “sexy” mentions globally.

Longevita shared its top 10 rankings, which held Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the 9th spot overall with 2.6 million mentions of being “sexy” and beat by Hobbes and Shaw co-star Jason Statham, who landed in the third spot with 7.4 million mentions.

Johnson recently debuted his Certified Fresh sitcom, Young Rock, on NBC. The 11-episode comedy series focuses on both Johnson’s rough upbringing and his unique and expansive path to stardom on multiple fronts — from the football arena to the wrestling ring to the big screen. It will also chronicle the early years of WWE from the ’80s and onward. Johnson serves as a co-creator, producer and stars as his older self on the hit series.

The Jumanji star has several film projects debuting in late-2021. Johnson co-stars in the adventure-fantasy film Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt, and alongside Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s action-comedy Red Notice.

Johnson will also star as the DC Extended Universe’s first portrayal of Black Adam. The film is approximately set to begin shooting in April. Johnson shared a sneak peek at Black Adam‘s script on social media, noting, “We are approximately three weeks away from shooting Black Adam and I cannot believe we are at the finish line,” he said. He also revealed that he knew about his upcoming superhero role “for years and years.” Black Adam has yet to receive a release date.
