Iron Man has officially been recast.
During Hulu and Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. Fan Q&A for WonderCon@Home 2021, it was revealed that Jon Hamm will voice Iron Man/Tony Stark in the upcoming adult animated series, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. Co-creators Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt were joined by cast members and other special guest stars, including Hamm, as they answered various fan questions about the upcoming Hulu series.
Along with a new Iron Man, the show will also feature classic X-Men villains like Mr. Sinister, which was confirmed by Blum on Twitter. The series will follow the megalomaniac M.O.D.O.K. as he tries not to run his evil organization into the ground while also juggling family life and a mid-life crisis. In the comics, M.O.D.O.K.’s main adversaries include heroes like Iron Man (Hamm), but his main nemesis for the series will be a rival organization called GRUMBL.
Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. stars Oswalt as the titular character and leader of the villainous organization A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) along with the voices of Melissa Fumero, Aimee Garcia, Ben Schwartz and Jon Daly. All 10 episodes of the stop-motion series will premiere on Hulu Friday May 21.
