Attack On Titan has become one of the biggest anime in the world, meeting and exceeding the expectations for its final season. The war between the Eldians of Paradis Island and the rest of world is taking a drastic turn, as even characters who fans loved are revealed to be not as heroic as they seemed. At the heart of it all are the Titans, the monsters that have been responsible for centuries of destruction.
The Titans are a difficult force to deal with, as even superheroes like the Justice League would have a problem dealing with them. While some members could beat Titans, others couldn’t.
10 COULD BEAT A TITAN: The Flash Could Run Circles Around Them
The Flash’s super-speed gives him all kinds of powers, and these skills have made him one of the most formidable members of the Justice League. When the Flash really turns on the speed, there are few who can deal with him, and Titans would be no different. They can’t eat what they can’t grab, and they couldn’t touch the Flash.
The Flash moves so fast that he can run up walls, and while he’s not known for carrying weapons, he could use super fast chops to cut through the napes of Titan necks. The Flash could end just about any Titan attack on his own, regardless of the numbers, in seconds.
9 COULDN’T BEAT A TITAN: Green Arrow Just Doesn’t Have What It Takes
Green Arrow is one of the greatest street levels heroes in the DC Universe, but he just doesn’t have what it takes to kill Titans. He’s tough and smart, but he doesn’t have the mobility to take out a Titan. Members of the Survey Corps train to kill Titans and are equipped with specialized gear for it. Without that gear or training, Green Arrow is Titan chow.
While some of his arrows would allow him to take down a Titan–his explosive arrows are a lot like the Thunder Spears the Eldians eventually develop–he’s just not fast or agile enough to take advantage of his weapons. He’d never be able to get into an optimal position to kill a Titan before one could eat him.
8 COULD BEAT A TITAN: Green Lantern Could Take Down Entire Armies Of Titans By Himself
Green Lantern is one of the greatest heroes in the DC Universe, protecting multiple planets in space sector 2814. Green Lantern rings are capable of creating some amazing constructs, and this ability would allow Green Lantern to defeat numerous Titans at once. He could put up forcefields to protect himself and others, while also corralling the Titans into one area.
Once there, he could use the ring’s constructs to land surgical blows to the napes of the Titans’ necks all at once. He could end the battle against the Titans in seconds, all by himself with little to no fuss.
7 COULDN’T BEAT A TITAN: Black Canary Couldn’t Make The Killing Blow
Black Canary is one of the most skilled fighters in the League, a tough and experienced hero made all the more dangerous thanks to her supersonic canary cry. She’s been in some crucial fights over the years, but killing Titans would be pretty much impossible for her. She’d give it her all, but it just wouldn’t be enough.
For starters, she’s just not fast enough to stay out of a Titan’s way indefinitely, and the fact that she’s only human would work against her as well–she’d tire out. On top of that, as great as her canary cry is, it wouldn’t allow her to make the fatal blow to the nape of the neck that is needed to fell a Titan.
6 COULD BEAT A TITAN: Martian Manhunter’s Tremendous Powers Would Make Titan-Killing A Snap
Martian Manhunter is the Swiss Army Knife of the Justice League, his vast variety of powers making him one of the team’s most versatile members. This massive repertoire of abilities would serve him well fighting against Titans. He has powers that would allow him to keep Titans from hurting him along with ones that would make Titan-killing a snap.
Martian Manhunter could easily just fly around and use his Martian vision blasts to break through the napes of Titan necks, or he could shapeshift his arms into blades and do the same thing. On top of all of that, most Titans lack the intelligence to use fire against him.
5 COULDN’T BEAT A TITAN: Blue Beetle Would Give It His All But It Wouldn’t Be Enough
Ted Kord made a name for himself as the Blue Beetle because of his time on the Justice League, but he’s never been the best in a fight. His keen mind has always been his main weapon; in a fight against heavy hitters, he’s kind of useless. This would be the case in a battle against a Titan–he doesn’t have the weapons to take one down.
If he was using the Bug, there may be a chance he could take one on, but it’s not well armed, and there’s a good chance a Titan could get a hold of it as they have a tendency to come out of nowhere. On his own, he just doesn’t have the weapons or skills that would let him survive a fight against a Titan.
4 COULD BEAT A TITAN: Wonder Woman Is Used To Fighting Giants
Wonder Woman is tailor-made for fighting Titans. For starters, she’s had battle against Giganta, whose power allows her to grow to massive size. She’s also fought all kinds of giants in her battling the mythological monsters. Her powers and her weapons would make Titan-killing a snap for her.
Wonder Woman could fly around the battlefield, using her sword to cut through Titan necks. She could trip them up with the Lasso of Truth and then strike. Her invulnerability would also make it impossible for Titans to hurt her.
3 COULDN’T BEAT A TITAN: Elongated Man Could Survive A Titan Attack But He Couldn’t Beat One
Elongated Man’s stretchy powers have made him a trusted member of the League. He’s much better than his attitude or lackluster name suggest, and while it’s hard to imagine a Titan killing him, it’s even harder to imagine him being able to actually beat one. Unlike some other stretchy heroes, like Plastic Man, he can’t shape his limbs, and that means no killing blow.
He could restrain a Titan, but he still couldn’t beat it. In fact, there’s a good chance that if one got their hands on him, it could eventually bite through him as well.
2 COULD BEAT A TITAN: Superman Can Of Course Beat Titans
Superman is the end all and be all of the Justice League. He’s often the one who wins the fights for the team, and even when he doesn’t, he’s able to keep the most powerful enemies at bay and give the rest of the team time to formulate a plan. No amount of Titans would be able to hurt Superman, and he’d take them down quickly.
Superman would make quick work of Titans. He’s just too fast, strong, and straight-up powerful. His vast repertoire of superpowers gives him way too many options, and there’s no way an army of Titans can hurt him.
1 COULDN’T BEAT A TITAN: Batman’s Only Human & That Would Cost Him
Batman is known for his penchant to win just about every fight he’s in. While he would definitely be able to come up with plans to deal with Titans, his all too human frailties would spell doom for him against them, especially if they attacked him before he knew what he was dealing with.
Batman is used to swinging around, but he uses his own strength to do most of the work, which is a huge mistake. He’s fast but not as fast as ODM gear, and that would cost him; a Titan would be able to snatch him out of the air.
