In a new featurette for Justice League, Zack Snyder is joined the film’s cast in discussing his vision for the DC Extended Universe film and the journey of his newly-released director’s cut.
“The fan community has sort of risen up demanding this version, well, because of the promise I’ve made them over the course of the two other movies [Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice],” Snyder says. “It has created this movement that said, ‘We need to know how it ends.'”
The director’s comments are accompanied not only by footage from Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but also subsequent interviews with stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, not to mention some behind-the-scenes footage. “In any endeavor, to be supported is an incredible thing,” Snyder says to conclude his thoughts. “There is something really satisfying and fun, for me, bringing these amazing fans a movie that they wanted to see.”
