Throughout the month of June, Marvel Comics’ various Star Wars titles will ship with special variant covers by a number of LGBTQ+ creators to commemorate Pride Month 2021. This announcement comes alongside a look at artist Jan Bazaldua and colorist Rachelle Rosenberg’s Pride Month variant for Doctor Aphra #11.
Doctor Aphra #11 is set to go on sale Wednesday, June 30. Bazaldua and Rosenberg’s variant stars none other than Sana Starros, one-time lover of the good doctor herself. Marvel’s other Star Wars comics getting Pride Month variants include Star Wars #14, Darth Vader #13, Bounty Hunters #13, The High Republic #6 and War of the Bounty Hunters #1. Each variant will feature a special Pride version of the comic’s title logo.
