Attack on Titan is one of the most popular manga stories ever written and Marvel is one of the most successful companies ever made, being known for movies, TV shows, video games, but most of all, comics. There was even a one-shot story in which the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy fought a group of titans.
Now with Attack on Titan ending in less than a month, the main characters in that series seem to have defeated the greatest threat in their universe, The Rumbling. But what would happen if The Rumbling occurred in the Marvel universe? Which superheroes would be able to kill Eren? And which ones would lose to the Colossal Titans?
10 Could: Iron Man Could Soar Above The Colossal Titans And Blast Them
One of The Rumbling’s biggest disadvantages is that it mostly only attacks the ground, killing people that run away from the Colossal Titans that walk towards them. Because of this, the Survey Corps and Warrior Unit needed Onyankopon and Falco to fly them above the surface.
However, Iron Man’s suit can fly faster than both the flying boat and the Jaw Titan can. As Iron Man can also blast the Colossal Titans, he could hit them at their necks. He could also fight Eren and the previous inheritors of the Nine Titans the same way.
9 Couldn’t: Hawkeye’s Bow And Arrow Wouldn’t Be Able To Take Down A Colossal Titan
Hawkeye is great with a bow and arrow, but that’s not a weapon commonly used to fight titans. The one time that a bow and arrow was used was when Sasha saved Kaya from a titan that killed the little girl’s mother.
Though Sasha won the fight, it’s important to remember that the titan was one of the smallest titans ever seen, as it was able to enter a house. No matter how impressive Hawkeye’s skills are, he wouldn’t take down the biggest titans in existence.
8 Could: The Spider-Men Are Marvel’s Survey Corps
Ever since Attack on Titan fans saw the characters use vertical maneuvering gear, they’ve compared them to the Spider-Men. Seeing as how characters like Mikasa and Jean have been a huge help in stopping The Rumbling despite not having the powers that the titan shifters have, Peter, Miles, Gwen, and the other Spider-Men could have a similar role in the battle.
They could either swing around each Colossal Titan and use their web powers to beat them or use weapons like the Survey Corps’ swords and thunder spears.
7 Couldn’t: Quicksilver Would Be Able To Save Everyone But Wouldn’t Be Able To Hurt Eren
Quicksilver is one of the fastest characters in any story and has saved many people when they were in danger by taking them out of it in the blink of an eye. Though he wouldn’t be able to stop The Rumbling, he could save all of the people that would have been stomped to death.
Even as the other heroes fought against Eren, the devil from Paradis would keep moving forward, so Quicksilver would be a great addition to the team but couldn’t win solo.
6 Could: Thor Could Strike Lightning Into The Colossal Titans’ Necks
What makes Thor fighting against The Rumbling very interesting is that Thor is inspired by Norse mythology, which Attack on Titan references often.
Like Iron Man, Thor could fly high in the air and rise above the Colossal Titans. He could fight them, Eren, and the former titan shifters that Eren controlled by striking them with lightning or hitting them with Mjolnir.
5 Couldn’t: Ant-Man Couldn’t Handle An Army Of Colossal Titans Solo
Ant-Man can get very large. According to the MCU, he can grow 65 feet. Though that’s pretty big, the Colossal Titans are about three times that size, so even if he could fight off one of them, there’s no way he’d defeat an entire army.
It’s also possible that he could shrink down, get to their necks, and get larger from within them, but this would take a long time and he probably wouldn’t be able to do this with the other enemies he’d face in The Rumbling.
4 Could: Thanos Could Use The Infinity Stones To End Eren’s Existence
At this point in the MCU, Thanos has been the main antagonist. He erased half of life’s existence after collecting the six Infinity Stones, so he’d definitely be able to defeat Eren with them. The question is, would he want to?
Seeing as how Thanos believed that there were too many people in the universe, he would probably support The Rumbling and may even help Eren kill everyone outside of Paradis. Though he could defeat Eren, the two would actually make an amazing team.
3 Couldn’t: Just As Reiner Couldn’t Stop Eren, Neither Could Colossus
The Armored Titan’s abilities are very similar to Colossus’. Seeing as how Reiner had a difficult time fighting Eren before The Rumbling even started, there’s no way he could have done it alone when he also had to fight his former comrades in the Warrior Unit and the Colossal Titans.
Even with the other warriors and soldiers, Reiner couldn’t do much against Eren, and Colossus probably wouldn’t be able to do as much as the Armored Titan.
2 Could: Professor X Could Control Eren
Eren is inheritor of the Founding Titan, allowing him to control the thoughts of Eldians all around the world. However, Professor X’s telepathic powers are much greater than Eren’s, and seeing as how he is a mutant rather than an Eldian, he’d be the one to control the Founding Titan if the two tried to use their abilities against each other.
Professor X would be able to do whatever he wanted with Eren, who wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.
1 Couldn’t: Captain America Wouldn’t Be Able To Defeat The Nine Titans Of The Past
Captain America is one of the strongest Avengers, but he wouldn’t be able to stop Eren. Seeing as how he is a soldier that believes in what is right, just like the Survey Corps, he may try to do everything that they did when they fought the boy they once trusted in.
However, as soon as Eren brought back the past titan shifters, Captain America would lose as there are too many of them and they are all incredibly powerful. On their own, even the strongest Survey Corps members, like Mikasa and Levi, would lose, and Captain America would face the same fate.
